Zodiac Horoscope

Hi! I've been reading about "Essential Dignities" and I noticed something. Each planet seems to have, at most, THREE signs it does particularly "well" in. Thus, it has three that it does particularly "poorly" in.(I put "well" and "poorly" in quotes because modern astrologers are of the opinion that every placement has its strengths and weaknesses. Which is a good position to have, since some people may have few, or even no planets in traditionally "good" placements.) For example, Venus has domiciles in Taurus and Libra, and exaltation in Pisces. Meaning she is in detriment in Aries/Scorpio, and fallen in Virgo. The essential dignities state that domicile is worth +5 points, exaltation +4. Detriment and fall are -5/-4, respectively. But another dignity (or lack thereof) is "peregrine"-a planet that is neither in domicile/detriment, nor exaltation/fall. Apparently, peregrine planets get the same -5 as planets in ...

I find that when writing or talking about the placement of the Lord of the 7th house most astrologers always skip the bad houses (2, 6, 8, 12) - I’m guessing because they are more difficult to talk about on the fly compared to ones with easier topics such as the 10th or 11th house Even in books or thorough resources such as the Astrology Podcast or even some conference lectures I’ve watched they always give extreme examples such as Hitler for the Lord of 7th in the 8th which of course doesn’t necessarily apply to the majority of people with such placements I’m wondering if anyone is willing to give their opinions on the connection between the 7th and the 2, 6, 8 or 12 house. Perhaps even some more positive ways to look at these interpretations? Or if anyone has anecdotal stories they would like to share that would be awesome. Hello- just wanted to get clarification on this. Which planet has upper hand/ is more influential in the other. When a planet is ten signs away from another- ie saturn in first Capricorn and moon in tenth Libra, the Saturn still has the upper hand- “decimation”. moon has the upper hand in this scenario because it moves faster and will overcome saturn. The Virgo New Moon is a day of activity. Not only is the New Moon sextile to Mars in Cancer, but we have three other astrological events happening on the same day, prior to the New Moon. Both Mercury and Venus ingress into their next zodiac signs on this day. Venus leads the way by moving into the sign of Scorpio at roughly 3:07 AM CDT. Venus is in its detriment in the sign of Scorpio. Eight hours later at 11:21 AM CDT, Mercury moves into the sign of Libra.
