September 19th, 2026: Capricorn Moon Meets Black Moon Lilith

  • Moon enters Capricorn (12:54 am EDT)

  • Moon conjunct Black Moon Lilith (0 deg)

  • Moon square Neptune Rx in Aries (3 deg)

  • Moon sextile Venus in Scorpio (5 deg)

The Moon enters Capricorn and conjoins Black Moon Lilith. This is essentially a union of opposites (BML is the furthest point of the Moon's orbit from the Earth). When the Moon crosses this point, we have a fusion of familiar female energy with wild, outcast energy.

This is a brief influence but you might experience it as comfort with what was previously forbidden. Or, a need to explore the distant reaches of what's taboo. This is the furthest the Moon will be from the Earth in her orbit, so there's a sense of distance from all that's familiar.

But at the same time, Capricorn is the sign of rules and tradition so maybe this will be female authority taken to its outer limits. This can also manifest as the mother who lays down the law in her own, controversial way.

It can be quite a powerful moment where you realize your true needs place you far from group. BLM is raw, unrestricted, unapologetic - she triggers hostility and judgements in many and that's part of her power. Maybe you cross paths with a woman who is totally comfortable with the air of transgressive authority she exudes. She makes you nervous but she's also fascinating.

But then we have the square to Neptune Rx and things become a bit blurry. Boundaries weaken and there are doubts about what's real. Don't allow escapism or vulnerability to undermine your authority. You know who you are and what you need. You know that once you experience what lies beyond "acceptable" you can't undo the change.

The sextile to Venus ends things on a softer note with a gentle hint of acceptance from someone. Or, maybe self-acceptance. Venus in Scorpio is fearless - she loves and craves that which is intense, ugly, secret. Here is the happy reminder that someone accepts all of you and you can get comfortable with your own extremities. The commitment is based on depth - it's quiet, private and unshakable.
