Mercury/Jupiter can be the big, loud statement that's infused with confidence. Or, the brilliant idea that shines a light on future possibilities. Almost anything looks achievable and sounds ultra impressive.

This is a very, very nice influence - good news, joyous conversation, generous greetings. All delivered with warm smiles and dusted with glitter. Words are celebratory but can also be infused with stubborn self-righteousness: all smiles until the ego is challenged.

Nonetheless, this can be the start of a truly glorious story. Use this if you need inspiration, a mental boost or you just want to socialize - Jupiter expands Mercury's info and Leo gives it conviction and charisma.

Watch also for convincing speeches from someone in authority or a golden promise - words are impressive because they are coming from "up there."

Having said all this, remember that Jupiter promises a lot and much of it can be true. But the hoped-for gift only materializes when you approach any Jupiter aspect with full awareness. The opportunity, the knowledge, the beam of light that illuminates more/better - these are all happening in the realm of the mind (Mercury). The words paint a picture but you need to do something with them.

The Sun's trine to Pallas Rx adds to the above with confident and refined strategies. The plan for winning is under review (and maybe internalized) but the Sun injects a specific portion of it with power and purpose. This is the conscious pull towards a pattern/plan that will be successful because you're willing it to be. And, your eyes and mind have been opened to higher knowledge, faith or a shot of pure luck.

Overall, this can be a day where you hear "Yes" or where you convince others that you're right.

For those who aren’t aware of the recent events around racism and well-known astrologer Steven Forrest, I will paste a text excerpt from Chris Brennan’s Facebook post that specifically lists what Forrest has done and said so that any who comment here can be clear on the issues. Many of the teachers and tutors of Forrest's school of Evolutionary Astrology have resigned. ISAR has commented and the UAC is in the process of a decision about Forrest's participation in the conference.
