This Full Moon in Saturn-ruled Capricorn puts matters of authority, commitment, parents, tradition and limits in the spotlight.

There can be an official finish line with a feeling of "the time has come" as family and/or historical matters culminate.

Capricorn is definite. There will be no guessing and the Moon's separating square from Neptune in Aries hints at a previous uncertainty or weakness that's being confronted. Watch for status, control and maturity vs meekness, lack of boundaries and immaturity.

Mercury stations Rx a few hours before this Moon, underlining the theme of history. This culmination could involve specific memories or a family discussion about the past. Traditions are reviewed and in the process they're strengthened or ended.

Overall, this lunation and Mercury retrograde encourage you to sharpen your focus on a memory, habitual need or domestic matter. You'll be encouraged to take responsibility for your own comfort which will include addressing family patterns like an adult (even if no one else is acting like one).

This can be challenging with the Full Moon's energetic peak plus Mercury Rx in Cancer's intensification of emotional trigger points. But it's a great opportunity to verbalize your boundaries while finally putting issues (that you've been silent on) into words.

And you know, this could be a mundane issue rather than a pot-stirring trip into family history. Maybe you're revisiting an official document and finally signing it - the Mercury Rx rule of "avoid signing or deciding" doesn't apply when you're returning to something. Maybe this is a family reunion that sticks with what you remember (although Saturn's position in Aries does hint at a few new developments). What unfolds could be pretty sedate because Capricorn is not known for drama -sometimes that's a relief.
