What exactly is the significance of anaretic degrees?

I'm a newbie and, while it probably isn't wise to be jumping so quickly to degrees, I am interested as to what exactly an anaretic degree entails in your opinion and/or experience?

Is the planet at an anaretic degree weak? Or does it enhance that planet in a sense?

I would also appreciate any literature or other resources like a podcast or video that goes into a bit more depth as well.

What happened to the two brilliant British astrologers?

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
