Celestial latitude ecliptic?

Hi! I’m reading Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice 1 and am confused on celestial latitude and how to find the ecliptic on a birth chart. How do you find it? I’m weirdly struggling to find any clear explanation, does anyone have any links?

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
