Christmas Eve Music Featuring Twelve Great Christmas Albums!

As part of our musical feast today, besides all the other remarkable voices we’ve heard or will enjoy in this holiday season, from Jethro Tull to Darlene Love to the Kinks to the very soulful John Gorka, we have twelve Christmas albums that I love to play each year when they can be found!

This is a huge collection of Christmas standards! All those and more are said to be in this 200+ song collection from across the years. Greatest Rock and Roll Christmas Hits - Rockin’ Christmas Classics

Last year I had a great 96 minute collection of rockin’ Christmas standards, some fairly obscure, but all make for a great Rock and Roll Christmas! Maybe next year Best Classic Christmas Rock And Roll Songs - Top Greatest Rock And Roll Music For Christmas will be back on line. Also MIA is the remarkable collection of 70 rockin’ Christmas standards, including Chuck Berry, Brenda Lee, Elvis, Johnny Horton, and all those other greats that get played on the radio once a year, like “Run Run Rudolph,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Still, I found this great 63 song collection titled Christmas 50s Rock N’ Roll

And here’s a 35 song collection including Chuck, Brenda Lee, Elton, Macca, John, the Killers, Tom Petty, Queen, No Doubt and more! Rock and Roll Christmas Songs

Here’s an hour and 10 of vintage Christmas songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s! A Vintage Christmas

I love this album! The harmonies are exquisite, and of course Brian wrote some classics. Enjoy The Beach Boys Christmas Album

James give us some very sweet soulful Christmas tunes on James Taylor at Christmas. (This is a great album! The link goes to the first song, and the rest will autoload in sequence.)

We move into the smooth velvet voice of Mister Lou Rawls giving us the soulful, jazzy Christmas Is the Time

Continuing the soulful sounds of Christmas, we follow that with this great Christmas album from Stevie Wonder! Stevie Wonder - Someday at Christmas

This is one of my favorite rock and roll Christmas albums. Elton kicks it off, and is followed by some fantastic Christmas music by other greats like Bob Seger, the Kinks, ELP, and more! A Rock and Roll Christmas
