Question about retrogrades

So for example, saturn is going to be retrograding in aquarius, would you look at where aquarius is in your chart to determine how the retrograde will affect you? In general for retrogrades i’m assuming that you look to where that sign is in your chart or am I mistaken?

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
