Modalities & Signatures

I’m having a tough time understanding the modalities in an astrological signature. I know which sign is what, but what that exactly means... I cannot grasp. What are the most important things to know about each modality?

I’m hoping someone can explain the differences in a way that will stick with me or make more sense.

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
