July 9th, 2026: Venus Into Virgo

  • Venus enters Virgo (1:22 pm EDT)

  • Mars in Gemini trine Juno Rx in Aquarius (7 deg)

Venus in Virgo purifies and corrects the self. Love is expressed through service and solutions.

You can see how this might create challenges in relationships and self-esteem: service creates unbalanced partnerships and the intense awareness of personal flaws leads to inferiority.

Use this energy to raise your standards without getting caught in the trap of "never good enough." Venus in Virgo's discernment can be focused on sorting out people and habits that contaminate your life and prevent you from achieving what you want. She's a bit ruthless in this sign as she separates what's good from what's rotten.

But there's a fine line between raising your standards vs continually cutting yourself (and others) down: "never good enough" is a fear-based trap that ensures you'll never have to risk your heart. Service vs slavery is another tricky boundary - be very careful about who receives your precious assistance. Not everyone deserves what you have to offer.

Be realistic about what you can improve about yourself and do it for yourself. As for fixing/saving the person you love - this can't be done. You can be attentive to their needs, maybe even nurse them if they're sick. But you can't make them "better"- that's up to them.

Love does not equal slavery. Self-improvement does not equal self-flagellation.

A key component of self-care is knowing when to stop refining yourself or looking after someone else.

Mars/Juno Rx is easy, flexible efforts that are part of a relationship agreement. The partners act together without thinking about it - it just happens. They're energized around each other and there's an implicit agreement on what they will choose and what their next steps will be.

Mutual freedom is supported and creates a current of excitement that's lively, not jarring.

This aspect is excellent if you want to get things done with someone else - there's no friction and the energy is detached and swift.
