This aspect (technically known as the inferior conjunction) marks the middle of Mercury's retrograde transit. A significant detail regarding the past will be illuminated. This can be a turning point in a domestic discussion, a memory or your realization about the emotional content of a situation.

Mercury will be Rx until Jul 23rd so there can still be delays and reviews, but this conjunction brings clarity. You understand why certain memories are emerging. Or, the family situation finally turns a corner as feelings are verbalized.

I view this as a neutral influence - clarity is always excellent but how you feel about this depends on the content. There could be something you really want to see or something you prefer remained in the past. A precious memory could be confirmed or proven false. What's certain is this will be a union of conscious awareness and instinct - you can do a lot with it.

Mercury also rules the Virgo South Node (the past) so the theme of what you're moving away from is underlined. Watch for old scripts and critiques to be pulled forward so you can accurately evaluate their usefulness in your present. Most likely you'll see they're no longer useful and you're replaying the past so you can find a solution. You might understand how the pieces all fit together now and maybe there's even a cleansing conversation. Perhaps some missing details are supplied.

This will have to be enough because you cannot travel back in time and change what happened. Acknowledge your truth (which could still be quite different from their truth), honour your feelings and move on.
