June 13th, 2026: Venus Enters Leo
Venus in Cancer square Chiron in Aries (29 deg)
Venus enters Leo (6:46 am EDT)
Venus/Chiron is about as ouch as it gets. Family relationship difficulties and old pain (about attractiveness, self-worth, value) from the past will be triggered. You might be hit with a reminder of why you felt unloved, unwanted or unsafe and the activator could be something in the present. You'll have to remember that you're an adult now and you decide how lovable/worthy you are.
Rejection is a possibility. You want the hug but you're pushed away. You're vulnerable in front of someone you care about and they tell you to stop being so sensitive. The old ache returns but rather than curling up and shutting everyone out, consider this a moment to be open about what you want and what hurts. Not with the goal of squeezing something out of someone but with the aim of exposing those old wounds so you can move forward. They won't vanish, but your acceptance of them can add to your strength as you realize that you are capable of supplying your own nurturing and happiness, even if no one else does (or ever has).
And right on cue, Venus enters Leo. Watch for the shift into a more confident, creative or celebratory mode. Venus in Leo encourages you to shine in whatever way makes you happy. Put yourself first - Venus in Leo bows to no one and she does not beg for attention. People come to her.
Maybe you're finally allowing yourself to play, to be a child. Maybe you're flaunting what you've been working on.
Treat yourself. And while you're at it, take note of any relationships where you always end up feeling less than- you're not being too demanding, you're not high maintenance. You want what you want and those who undermine you because of this don't deserve your attention.
This can be a drama-filled transit: Venus in Leo loves with all her heart and gives generously when she's feeling valued. So there can be BIG displays of love - bold, sparkly, gushing. Why hide it? But the distorted version of this is looking for love exclusively from outside sources and responding with jealously and undignified displays when you don't get the attention/affection you crave. It's been said many times before but it bears repeating: self-worth starts on the inside. If you don't value yourself no one will ever fill that void.
Venus in Leo loves an audience but they can be fickle- if the applause stops or people cut you down (which invariably happens when you're in the spotlight) it's crucial to have that unshakable, internal set of values.
Venus exits Leo on Jul 9th.
