May 22nd, 2026: Venus Square Neptune

  • Venus in Cancer square Neptune in Aries (3 deg)

  • Neptune conjunct Vesta (3 deg)

  • Venus trine the Pisces North Node (4 deg)

  • Gemini Sun conjunct Uranus (1 deg)

  • Mercury in Gemini trine Juno in Aquarius (10 deg)

  • Mercury sextile Saturn in Aries (11 deg)

The influence of May 21st's Venus/Vesta square continues. Neptune/Vesta unites the flame of devotion with a higher vision or spiritual passion. The dream is the flame and demands your total commitment - the fight, pursuit or race to be the first is all that matters.

Or is it? Venus' square to Vesta says this devotion clashes with what you want. Venus' square to Neptune says what you want might even be delusional as the passionate dream burns too hot for what's closest to you.

Altogether, this can indicate unhappiness with your current domestic situation or comfy relationship (it's boring, smothering) as the vision of something heightened stirs restlessness. Change is is necessary, on both sides. And the delusion that's mixed in (the impossible, passionate, sanctified love) will lead to disappointment which is a catalyst for change.

Venus' trine to the Neptune-ruled North Node says the path forward still means following that dream. But, in typical Neptune fashion, the line between what's healthy vs toxic is easily missed. Integrate what you want with a future that's magical and presents an urgent spiritual, creative or compassionate goal.

But as this happens, keep checking in with yourself to ensure you're not inflating future possibilities. Differentiate between a way to be happy that's different from the past vs avoidance of the past:

  • progressing rather than escaping

  • consciously creating a future rather than blotting out/denying what was

Sun/Uranus clarifies a surprising choice about your purpose or an unexpected side to yourself. This will hit quickly and kick off new self-expression. Suddenly, you don't care who sees your other side as the hobby/interest/second job/second life is revealed. You're ready to take some risks.

Or, perhaps a shocking side to a public figure is revealed.

This influence can be liberating and/or anxiety-provoking. The ego is shaken by a truth about itself. The unforeseen twin is revealed. There may also be impatience to communicate revolutionary messages to everyone. You'll get people's attention but not everyone will take you seriously.

In contrast to the above, Mercury's aspects to Juno and Saturn are all about commitment. Mercury/Juno is the relationship agreement where freedom to choose is paramount. The agreement could be written or verbal but harmony comes from a mutual desire for freedom and some detachment. The sextile to Saturn says there's still an undertone of formal commitment that supports independence.

Commitment is strengthened by mutual liberation and fast, inquisitive communication.

If Neptune has you confused, Uranus should lay some truths on you with a reveal that places the ego in a new category.
