Mars and Venus are a pair - action and attraction, male and female. Here they're not aspecting each other but there's still an exchange - they're in adjacent signs at the same degree.

Mars on the North Node is fluid energy that activates your future. Intuition is the guide -there's an opportunity to step up with an open attitude because the path forward will be meandering and unpredictable. For some, this could be the start of a spiritual or compassionate battle- fighting for an exalted vision. You're encouraged to make the first move and this will create ripples that spread out in a fated way.

Meanwhile, Venus (in Mars-ruled Aries) makes an incompatible quincunx with the South Node. Asserting what you want is incompatible with the past - impulsive attractions or a sudden urge for something new/daring does not fit with the precise instructions you've been given. But Mars/North Node says now is the time to reach for what you want because it's part of your future. Just be prepared for events to unspool in their own way/own time.

Venus in harmony with BML adds a touch of wild, "forbidden" female energy to the mix.
