How tight do you keep your orbs, or do you aspect by decan?

Let me know. Normally I keep a tight orb of 3-5 for everything, including bigger influences like Jupiter or the Sun, but i have been playing with an orb of 6-10 to validate someone I want to connect with haha. *facepalm*

I wanted to know if you have found big orbs to have equal influence, what your thoughts are :]

Especially with elemental trines. IE Air venus trine Air Venus, orb of 8-10. I think decans influence such different perspectives of a sign, I don't think I've really validated that type of trine in a long time.
