January 25th, 2023: Pisces to Aries Moon

  • Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune (23 deg)

  • Moon sextile Pluto in Capricorn (28 deg)

  • Moon Void of Course in Pisces (11:11 am EST)

  • Moon enters Aries (1:47 pm EST)

  • Moon conjunct Jupiter (4 deg)

  • Waxing Sextile (5 deg)

The Pisces Moon unites with Neptune and dreams leak into the real world - escape seems possible. Sensitivities are heightened. This suggests boundary-less needs (the yearning for something undefinable that can never be fulfilled) or moments of extreme compassion.

The sextile to Pluto offers some grounding, but only if you're ready to descend from impossible heights. The stainless fantasy, the sainted compassion, the pure escape - these are illusions because nothing is totally pure. The truth lies somewhere between the sky and the shadows, the sacred and the profane. Look at the darker, more intense sides of what you feel and you'll find the impossible longing somehow manifests in your reality as something more textured and, well, real.

The sextile to Pluto is the last aspect before the Moon goes VOC. It then enters Aries and conjoins Jupiter, bringing a dramatic change. Optimism, ambition and courage suddenly light up. There's a pressing need to charge forward.

This leads to the Waxing Sextile (Aries Moon sextile the Aquarius Sun) - the part of the lunar phase that's about opportunity. Here's the gift, the boost, the moment of luck. Courage blends with innovation and independence, urging you to get out there by yourself because you've got everything you need to succeed. This has a trailblazer vibe- the pioneer running to meet the future.

If you're doing something during the Pisces portion of today's lunar cycle, you may be releasing, healing or channeling. Going inwards. If it takes place during the Aries portion, something new is starting up with a burst of assertive joy and you're reaching out.
