Astrologically, why were cult/group followings so big in the late 60s and how does it compare to what we see happening today?

The 60s saw a lot of activism. But a strong theme during that time was the formation of cults or groups of people who followed any particular ideology.

Currently we see similar cult-like formations whether it is politically charged or based on other things.

What was happening astrologically during that time?

How does it compare to what is happening now?

However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
