House division: what made you pick one calculation over another? Whole sign, equal, placidus, porphyry, etc. Any resources to share?

I’ve been studying for quite awhile and my indecisiveness on picking what house division has made me stagnant.. I know deep down I have to make the decision for me, but it is cool to hear some other perspectives on the matter. Also if there is any resources you could share about how you were lead to your specified house division that would be gratefully appreciated!

Is the via combusta really Scorpio?

My ascendent is - according to birth certificate time - 27 degrees Libra. But I was just playing around with a rectification app and realized that if I didn't know the exact time, I'd definitely rectify it to 15 minutes later.
