Indigenous heritage in birth chart?

hi! I recently had my first reading with a professional astrologer (he was WONDERFUL, worth every penny and went above and beyond), but he did make one comment that struck me as strange—he said based on my chart he wouldn’t be surprised if i had Indigenous heritage.

now, i do technically have Indigenous heritage, enough that i could ‘claim’ it, but it would be offensive to do so considering i grew up without any knowledge of this until recently and have benefitted from the privileges of being a white woman my entire life.

but that aside, i’ve never read anything about birth charts showing any kind of heritage. is this a thing? has anyone else heard of anything like this?

My ascendent is - according to birth certificate time - 27 degrees Libra.
