Combined effects of Mercury Retrograde and Moon Void of Course?

I noticed that a lot of Do’s and Don’ts during a Mercury Retrograde are similar to that of a VOC Moon. Since Merc Retrograde is starting, I want to know how it will affect days with a VOC Moon (since VOC Moon happens every 2-3 days)

What if I do something that’s not recommended during a VOC Moon WHILE Mercury Retrograde is going on? For example, I set up an important business meeting, or go on a first date.

Will the effects be synergistic? Or will they actually cancel each other out?
