I recently learnt that the house ruler is the planet of the ascendant. For example with a cancer rising, the ruling planet would be the moon. Is the natal chart ruler then the moon? All of this was making sense to me until I watched a video where someone took it a step further with the house of the ruling planet. If the natal moon is in the 12th house, would that then make the chart ruler the twelfth?
