Is there any information on pre-Christianity astrology? And how it was modified?

Hi guys! So I got interested in the world before Christianity, because the religion really changed the society norms and some rules. And I was excited to discover that astrology was already there. And I am pretty sure that it has probably went through a lot of religious filtering since then. I am interested in finding what was changed/removed bc of religion. Basically I am interested in “pure” astrology that is unbiased.

Like, for example, I see that William Lily “titled his book "Christian Astrology" partly to circumvent potential religious censorship and opposition from the Church during the 17th century.”

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
