Why would sun & moon horoscopes be accurate?

I'm new to astrology. Many generalized horoscopes state they are for sun/moon/rising of x sign but then the transits are only described in the rising sign houses. My guess is that it's only relevant for the rising sign--is my thinking inaccurate for this?

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
