What is better for compatibility, a person with more masculine/yang signs in their chart with someone who has more feminine/yin signs, or masculine/yang with masculine/yang and vice versa?

I've has some trouble finding an answer to this, although I absolutely know how much goes into compatibility/synastry so it can be subjective.

What are your experiences with this part of compatibility/synastry?

Diana Garland and Bracha Goldsmith have both youtube channels with multiple 10k followers and used to upload astrology content on a regular basis for years. However they both stopped at some point & we never posted on their platforms anymore!
